Here are a select few of my personal and academic projects that I have engaged with over the past few years. These selections highlight my writing, problem solving, and graphic design abilities respectively.
Personal Zine
Features Journalism
During a spring 2024 session of Features Journalism, I planned, designed, and wrote a 32 page personal magazine. The zine was fully created within the Canva platform and contains a variety of writing styles (human interest story, restaurant review, event coverage, etc.). Professional Closet Renovation Plan
Agnes Scott College Career Exploration Center
Together with one other co-worker at the Agnes Scott College career center, we independently took on the challenge of developing and implementing a renovation plan for the S.O.S. Closet, a unique resource which offers students the opportunity to check out professional clothing. My colleague and I presented the linked presentation to Career Center leaders, resulting in an increased budget and a successful renovation.
Non-profit Health Communications Items
She Soars
Linked to the right are a variety of items that I was able to design and create for She Soars, an Atlanta based mental health non-profit. The following designs were used by the organization on social media platforms and printed for use at in-person events. Each design was carefully curated with a specific target audience in mind.
